Scope of drydock and internal structure examinations: an internal structure exam consists of a complete examination of the vessel's main strength members which include major internal framing, hull plating and planking, voids and ballast, cargo and fuel oil tanks. Fuel tank is inaccessible for inspection and must be made available for inspection. Owner to devise plan for fuel tank inspection no later than 10FEB23. Marine inspector must inspect fuel tank once available for inspection.

The hull has several areas of concern of pitting and corrosion of the aluminum bottom. Owner to devise plan to prove corrosion is within acceptable limits as per structural design standards in 46 CFR 177.300. Submit plan to OCMI no later than 10FEB23. Marine inspector must be present for hull gauging.

Additionally the required 10BC was not onboard. Third party was present and installed a new 10BC onboard and serviced the Fireboy and 40BC. Deficiency rectified onscene; however future inspections require servicing to be done annually and before the CG inspection.

Vessel is not authorized to have the deckhand enter the water until adequate portable oxygen is onboard.
