All electrical engineering details and installations shall be designed and installed in accordance with subchapter J (Electrical Engineering) of this chapter. Wire must be in an enclosure. The flexible conduit connecting the liquid high level alarm to the rigid conduit on Cargo tanks 1S and 2S are severed exposing the wires to the elements.

All marine engineering details such as piping, valves, fittings, boilers, pressure vessels, etc., and their appurtenances installed on the vessel, shall be designed, constructed, and installed in accordance with the provisions of subchapter F (Marine Engineering) of this chapter. The respective piping systems installed on ships and barges shall have the necessary pumps, valves, regulation valves, safety valves, relief valves, flanges, fittings, pressure gauges, liquid level indicators, thermometers, etc., for safe and efficient operation of the vessel. The starboard side cargo pump amperage gauge has a shattered sight glass and cracked housing.

Perform all required inspections prior to conducting cargo operations.
