The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provision of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. Inspected noted multiple gashes on the lifeboat hull with exposed fiberglass and cracks in the paint and gelcoat throughout the mold seams, questioning the structural integrity of the lifeboat.

Rescue boats shall comply with 4.4.1 of the Code and be properly constructed and maintain for ample stability and no loss of buoyancy material and no other damage. Examiners observed a crack through the whole bulwark on the vessels bow above the hosting ring where the navigation lights are mounted.

The taft rails on the vessels hull were found damaged and nearly ripped off from the rescue boat.

Deck drain port on the lifeboat appear to be delaminating from the core of the lifeboat hull.
