(b) The crew of each towing vessel must demonstrate the ability to operate the primary and auxiliary machinery and electrical systems for which they are responsible, and to do so under normal and emergency conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, responses to alarms and restoration of propulsion and steering in the event of failure. This vessel fowled their port kort nozzle while assisting another vessel, reducing the movement of the vessel. Vessel must make corrective actions before conducting commerce. Vessel may utilize assist tugs if necessary to move vessel to a safer or preferred location in the Houston/Galveston area. You may utilize TPO or USCG inspector to clear 835. Please provide copies of any 3rd party reports and TPO paperwork if utilizing TPO.

Resolution: Received an ABS stamped dive report that 15 pounds of poly rope line was removed and all running gear was tested and found SAT. Inspection completed.
