The #1 Air Receiver had excessive corrosion on the top 1/3 portion of the interior of the pressure vessel. The operator was unable to provide the U1A to verify the corrosion allowance. Repair with a pre-approved repair proposal submitted to the marine inspector or replace with a Coast Guard approved air receiver that meets 46 CFR 54.01-5(c)(3).
