The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. While transiting outbound Port of Beaumont, vessel lost both generators and was unable to keep cooling temps down to an acceptable level. Vessel anchored at the anchorage to determine cause. Vessel to determine cause of failure and corrective action to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.
