The cognizant OCMI may require review of a vessel's watertight and weathertight integrity. CG Inspectors visited the tug and noted a hole was temporarily patched w/"sealant". The hole was about 1/8" and located on the portside of the engineroom, at or below the waterline. The owner shall make repairs to the satisfaction of an ABS Surveyor (their TPO) and notify and receive clearance to operate from the OCMI, prior to movement.
