Coast Guard record current through 23 August 2026, retrieved 5 September 2026 from PSIX. Every field on this page was recorded by the Coast Guard. Records for the Towing Vessel class in Maury's sources begin in 1980.
Every line above is a count of records the US Coast Guard wrote, or a date it recorded.
A blank resolution means none was recorded in this data; it does not establish that a
deficiency is outstanding. Years with a record are calendar years in which a record
exists, not years in service. What Maury does
not do.

Every line above is a field of the National Vessel Documentation Center's file as served by NOAA Fisheries, dated 10 August 2026, matched to this hull on its Official Number. Registered and ITC measurements are two systems and are never combined. One snapshot is held so far; documentation history begins with the next.

The Coast Guard recorded this vessel and the following in the same
inspection activity — normally a tug and the barges in its tow. A recreational or
unclassed hull in the same activity is held and not published, so it does not appear
here: these lists are a floor, not a complete manifest.
10 - Safety of Navigation › N/A - No Subsystem › Charts
Issued 13 June 2024Resolved
A towing vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date charts, maps and nautical publications for the intended voyage. The paper charts do not reflect the current changes published in the Local Notice to Mariners, and the Electronic Chart program has not uploaded any updates since it was installed according to the crew. Corrections shall be updated on the paper and electronic charts, to reflect current changes.
Action required: 60 - Rectify deficiencies prior to movement
Due 13 June 2024
Resolved 16 July 2024
Resolution: Current charts of the vessel's operating area are on-board. The deficiency is cleared.
07 - Fire Safety › N/A - No Subsystem › Fire detection and alarm system
Issued 13 June 2024Resolved
Each towing vessel must have a fire-detection system installed to detect engine room fires. The owner or managing operator must ensure the system is installed, tested, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's design manual. The crew was unable to demonstrate satisfactory testing of the system or show record of testing. Must provide documentation that the system was reviewed and certified in accordance with 46 CFR 146.330(a)(7) and prove that proper testing is being conducted to the satisfaction of class or CG prior to movement.
Action required: 60 - Rectify deficiencies prior to movement
Due 13 June 2024
Resolved 25 June 2024
Resolution: Satisfactory test completed in the presence of Marine Inspector. Deficiency cleared.
02 - Structural Conditions › N/A - No Subsystem › Stability/strength/loading information and instruments
Issued 13 June 2024Resolved
The owner or managing operator of an existing vessel not operating under a stability document must be able to show at least one of the following: (1) The vessel's operation or a history of satisfactory service does not cause the stability of the vessel to be questioned by either the Coast Guard or a TPO engaged to perform an audit or survey. The vessel was issued an initial COI without a stability letter based on satisfactory historical record of stability but current practice brings the vessel's stability into question and places the vessel in danger. CG Marine Inspectors found that the company is using an aft compartment that was not designed or intended to hold ballast water. When asked why the water was there, the crew said "For stability". As the water moves within this space, the resulting free surface effect causes an unacceptable condition of instability. The compartments must be pumped dry and remain as such during operations.
Action required: 60 - Rectify deficiencies prior to movement
Due 13 June 2024
Resolved 25 June 2024
Resolution: Owner provided drawings confirming that the space in question may be used for ballast. The deficiency is cleared.
13 - Propulsion and Auxiliary Machinery › N/A - No Subsystem › Operation of machinery
Issued 16 June 2023Resolved

Towing vessel experienced a loss of steering during a mooring evolution. Vessel is to make permanent repairs to the steering system prior to conducting towing operations to the satisfaction of their TPO, ABS.
Action required: 705 - Other - as specified
Due 19 June 2023
Resolved 16 June 2023
Resolution: ABS attended the vessel and cleared the steering failure.
13 - Propulsion and Auxiliary Machinery › N/A - No Subsystem › Other (machinery)
Issued 1 August 2022Resolved
Machinery and electrical systems must be designed and maintained to provide for safe operation of the towing vessel and safety of persons onboard under normal and emergency conditions. The towing vessel experienced a failure within the electrical system which has rendered the steering system (non follow-up) inoperable.

Ownership record
The Coast Guard's documentation record for this hull -- the Abstract of Title,
with its owners and liens as filed -- is not in PSIX. Ask, and Maury buys it from the National
Vessel Documentation Center, files it here with its date, and every reader of this page gets it.
