Vessel has a gate sluice valve on the the emergency escape truck in the engine room that drains directly into the engine room bilge. Vessel must effect a correction to ensure that progressive flooding is automatically mitigate in the event that the gate valve is left open.

Sea chest bleed valve, penetrating through the engine room port watertight bulkhead into the engine room escape trunk, has corroded away and split into two pieces, compromising the integrity of the bulkhead.
