Diesel fuel (2oz) was found in the space forward of the fuel tank space and aft of the potable water tank. During the previous hull/ise exams fuel was also identified in the same location. The nearest fuel tanks were drained, cleaned and pressure tested with no defects found. At this time it is unknown where the fuel originated; adjacent fuel tanks are still empty. Vessel master is required to make daily checks of the space and log the checks and any presence of fuel for attending marine inspector to review.
