Whenever damage or deterioration to hull plating or structural members that may affect the seaworthiness of a vessel is discovered or suspected, the cognizant OCMI may conduct an internal structural examination in any affected space, and may require the vessel to be drydocked or taken out of service to assess the extent of the damage, and to effect permanent repairs. The vessel sustained damage to STBD pulpit in 3 locations. The largest area of damage is about 1 foot long and 6 inches wide. The second area is about 10 inches long and inches 5. The third area is about 5 inches long and an inch and a half wide. O/O must repair stbd pulpit damage to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector before issuance of next drydock credit.

Flame screen for port fuel tank goose vent was wasted and had numerous holes compromising it's ability to prevent flame/spark from entering the fuel tank. Goose neck vent float ball was also wasted and needs replacement.
