Owner self reported loss of steering and took vessel out of service. Make necessary repairs and conduct steering test in the presence of a CG marine inspector prior to resuming commercial operations. Submit a CG-2692 within 5 days of the reportable marine casualty.

An uncapped sewage pipe is also leaking sewage directly into the bilge. Submit repair proposal to USCG for review and plan approval prior to making permanent repairs.
