Propulsion machinery, including main engines, reduction gears, shafting, bearings, and electrical equipment and systems, must:(1) Be maintained to ensure proper operation;(2) Be suitable for route and service. MSU Houma received report that the vessel had an equipment failure from Starboard generator due to a loose terminal connection rendering the equipment inoperable. Vessel is to move to Kenner Bend Anchorage, New Orleans to affect repairs to the satisfaction of ABS.
