PSCO’s observed approximately 30 lifejackets that were excessively worn and/or torn. PSCOs directed crew to conduct thorough examination of all lifejackets in all outside lockers and in lifeboats. Crew found/removed ~250 lifejackets in total. 74 SOLAS 20 III/20.2

During a general walk through spaces, materials in boxes for the scrubbers installation e.g. cables was observed tied down for sea in the passageway to be unloaded in Seattle. There is a possible hindrance to muster stations egress in an emergency. Informed Master of the condition. SECTOR Juneau will follow up next week's vessel port of call in Juneau.
