This vessel is the only operating vessel in the fleet and has not obtained a valid COI. The vessel shall be made available for a Coast Guard COI inspection within 90 days. If an inspection is not completed prior to this date, the action for this deficiency shall be changed to a 60(Rectify deficiencies prior to movement) and the vessel may no longer permitted to operate.

Fire hazards shall be minimized. Several flammable liquid containers were stores inside the vessel, in bunk rooms in the bathroom closet. Ensure flammable liquids are stores in an approved flame locker with appropriate fire extinguisher nearby.

Resolution: Owner installed two approved fire lockers on the back deck with a fire extinguisher nearby. Also removed all the flammable liquids from inside the vessel.

Electrical systems and equipment must function properly and minimize system failures fire and shock hazards. Several loose exposed wires were found. An over current protection box to the port side on the helm was found with empty circuit breaker and no blank allowing access to the bar.
