The vessel has been both in satisfactory service insofar as structural adequacy is concerned and does not cause the structure of the vessel to be question by either the OCMI, or TPO engaged to perform an audit or survey. Inspector noted structural issues in the following: bottom 2" of the entire superstructure attachment just above the main deck is heavily corroded, structure just below the attachment to the first deck above main deck appears to have temp repairs IVO the galley entry door on the stbd side, first deck above the superstructure deck is corroded in multiple locations, and the port and stbd triangle brackets attached to the center steering cylinder post are fractured at the toe of the weld attachment to the compensation plate on the main deck. Repair the the satisfaction of the MI.

Racor filters are installed with clear plastic sight glass without protective metal flame bowls. Plastic covers only meet the manufacturer's specifications when installed with the metal flame bowls in a marine application. Install flame bowls to meet the requirement. 46 CFR 143.255

Wires were not energized at the time of the inspection, but were still connected to the breaker panel. Light fixtures were broken and missing covers. Renew and properly wire lighting fixtures. Complete prior to 20 July 2019.
