When minor alterations or minor repairs of tank vessels become necessary such work shall be under the direction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, and shall be in accordance with the regulations in effect at the time the vessel was contracted for or built, or in accordance with the regulations in effect for new construction insofar as possible. The tank barge HTCO 3060 was involved in a collision at MM 185 GIWW and sustained a 2 inch deep by 3 foot wide, 6 foot long inset to the port bow hull plating. Vessel is authorized to transit from MM 185 to Kinder Morgan, Galena Park, TX, MM 395, Houston Ship Channel to offload its cargo and then proceed to Backin Fleet, MM 386, to coordinate proposed repairs. Prior to conducting any repairs, vessel shall contact the local [name withheld], to coordinate repair oversight.
