The portable bilge pump on board was found to have a broken intake valve rendering it unserviceable. The backup submersible pump on board was deemed to be insufficient for pumping out large spaces during emergency conditions.

The emergency fuel shutoffs had not been tested since the last CG annual inspection. Test the emergency fuel shutoffs and record in the towing vessel record.
