When minor alterations or minor repairs of tank vessels become necessary such work shall be under the direction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, and shall be in accordance with the regulations in effect at the time the vessel was contracted for or built, or in accordance with the regulations in effect for new construction insofar as possible. Pinhole leak in vapor header IVO #1 P/S "T" connection in vapor line. Epoxy and pipe patch installed. Proceed to VLS Port Arthur for permanent repairs to the satisfaction of CG Marine Inspector.

Cargo piping systems shall be arranged and fabricated IAW this section and subchapter F. Reports of the Barge vapor line indicate there is a noticable leak on the vapor line via a hole. Barge is authorized a one-time temporary repair to transit to lake charles to discharge cargo at Calcasieu Refinery and then make permanent repairs.
