When minor alterations or minor repairs of tank vessels become necessary such work shall be under the direction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, and shall be in accordance with the regulations in effect at the time the vessel was contracted for or built. On August 11, 2025, a vertical crack measuring approximately 4 inches was observed on the hawsepipe, extending from the hull to the weld seam. The fracture measures approximately 4 inches vertically from the hull plating to a weld seam on the hawsepipe, where it has propagated approximately 3 inches to either side along the weld seam. Vessel is to complete temporary repairs in Kotzebue, AK prior to departure. 46 CFR 30.01-10
