After any survey of the ship under regulation 8 has been completed, no change shall be made in the equipment and other items covered by the survey, without the sanction of the Administration. Record of Equipment for the Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate (FORM E) states number of persons accommodated by life rafts is 80; current life rafts on board have a capacity of 16, accommodating 64 persons total.
