Propulsion machiner, including main engines, reduction gear, shafting, bearings,and electrical equipment and systems, must : Be maintained to ensure proper operation. SEC H/G reported equipment failure. While in transit from TXC dock 37 to 45, Assist tug EVELENA experienced a mafunction from the raw water connection to cooler. Vessel attempted to change gasket however, the connection is too erroded to withstand connection. Vessel shall affect repairsto the satisfaction of the TPO.
