If determined to be non-compliant, provide intent on how future notifications are to be made "at the earliest opportunity to the Administration" and "immediately to the appropriate authorities of the port or coastal State". The bridge navigational watch system (BNWAS) shall be in operation whenever the ship is underway at sea. BNWAS found powered down and crew states BNWAS is not used while on DP.

The survey of marine diesel engines and equipment for compliance with MARPOL Regulation 13 of Annex VI shall be conducted IAW with the revised NOx Technical Code 2008. Crew has not logged replacement of the parts/components which, when used in the engine will result in the continued compliance of the engine with the NOx emission limits in the EIAPP required technical files.

L/Bs located aft have faded retro-reflective tape. Retro-refelctive material shall be fitted on all lifesaving appliances IAW the recommendations of the organization. LSA Code 1.2.27

Two forward lifeboats had not been drained and refilled with fresh fuel since JULY 2014 (over 1 year). Annual inspection of L/B's shall include emptying and cleaning each fuel tank, and refilling it with fresh fuel. [46 CFR 109.301(f)(1)]

Stairways which penetrate more than a single deck should be protected by self closing doors at all levels. Stairway doors are not self closing. Adjust doors so that they are self closing.
