A vessel must be operated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and in such a manner as to afford protection against hazards to life, property, and the environment. The vessel's engineer was conducting rounds in the engine room when the engineer noticed a 2' crack on a weld located between the main engines.
Temporary repairs have been made and the Coast Guard requires a transit plan reviewed by the TPO prior to movement

It was reported that the vessels starboard main engine is unable to provide propulsion, possiblyt due to something blocking the stbd prop. Divers currently scheduled to attend. Prove proper operation prior to resuming service.
