An existing vessel may be deemed by the OCMI, or TPO, to be in compliance with this subpart provided that either: (b) The vessel has both been in satisfactory service insofar as structural adequacy is concerned and does not cause the structure of the vessel to be questioned by either the OCMI, or TPO engaged to perform an audit or survey. The MARGARET was involved in an allision with a mooring buoy and received a hull fracture along the port stern corner as a result. Repairs to be made to the satisfaction of the TPO (ABS) prior to movement. ***In accordance with CVC Policy Letter 17-10,the above deficiencies may be cleared by the operating company's TPO. TPO must submit a report to the cognizant OCMI within 72 hours of clearing the deficiencies***
