Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society. CBC 1706 made contact with the STC 2510 causing a gash approximately 2' x 3" as reported by the vessel master. Vessel is to proceed directly to Southwest Shipyard Houston, TX and affect permanent repairs to the satisfaction of USCG.
