A bilge high level alarm must be installed on vessels of at least 26ft in length and produce an audible and visual alarm in normally unmanned spaces. When testing each compartment bilge high level alarm, none produced an audible or visual alarm. The bilge high level junction box located in the lazarette also poored out water when examined. Repair or replace existing high water alarm system and ensure all junctions remain free of water accumulation.
