Tropical Storm Philippe generated high winds and turbulent seas in the USVI & BVI area. O/O reported that the M/V ADVENTURER took bow damage after a cargo vessel broke free from its moorings and allided into the M/V ADVENTURER.
Prior to carriage of passengers, make vessel available for MIs to a conduct damage survey. Provide repair proposal to USCG for OCMI review/acceptance prior to conducting repairs.

1. Generator space: Visible daylight seen through 8" gouge penetrating the sideshell approximately .5 feet below the main deck.
2. Steering gear space: Approximately 10ft transverse x 5 vertical hull plating and adjacent longitudinal and transverse frames severely damaged including broken welds, twisting, compression, cracking, warping, and bulging. Visible daylight seen through separation between stern and main deck.
3. Port bow: approximately 8' length by 6' vertical sideshell plating with through-hull penetrations visible daylight seen, sideshell-main deck separation and damaged adjacent framing including twisting, compression, cracking, warping, and bulging.
4. Bow stem approximately 8 ft visible warped.
5. Bulwarks and railing on bow twisted, warped and cracked. Railing above bulwark broken off. Approximately 10' on starboard bow and 10' on port bow. 4 stanchions on starboard bow bulwark twisted with broken welds.
