The OCMI shall ensure that the vessel's structure is in satisfactory condition and fit for service. Vessel has a 10 foot crack in the side shell plating at the starboard gunnel of the foward rake. Vessel authorized to transit unloaded to Mississippi Marine shipyard in Greenville, MS for permanent repairs. Make repairs to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.

vessel was discovered to have an approximately 12" crack on the stbd aft knuckle at the deckline doubler connecting deck to sideshell. Vessel placed temporary repairs using epoxy resin. Vessel is allowed to transit to Baton Rouge to conduct offload of cargo and shall conduct permanent repairs upon completion. Vessel shall inform local OCMI prior to commencement of permanent repairs. 46 CFR 30.01-10
