THE LIFEBUOY WITH SELF-IGNITING LIGHT LOCATED AFT OF THE PORT LIFERAFT WAS NOT FUNCTIONAL. REPLACEMENT LIGHT WAS PROVIDED ON THE SPOT. SOLAS 74/78 (2014) III/20.1

Resolved 14 November 2018
Resolution: After the exam was completed but before departing the ship, ship's crew determined that the system had been drained to prevent freezing which was resulting in a failed simulation test. Successful simulation test was observed.
