All fire detection systems must be inspected, tested and maintained at least once every 12 months. The fire detection system has not been inspected, tested or maintained and had no means to test the reliability of the system. Provide a copy of the attached fire detection nameplate and manufacturers approved design manual. Conduct rounds of the vessel machinery space every 30 minutes during operation.

The port 01 deck exterior door was wasted on the bottom exposing the gasket. Port main deck had a stuffing tube that is not filled. Make repairs to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector.
