Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the ABS or other recognized classification society.
Inspectors identified one corroded weld on the S/B side of the bow where the raised trunk meets the walking deck. VSL shall enact repairs to the satisfaction of the CG. Also, identified a gouge on the S/B side of the raised trunk near the #1 wing void that needs to be gauged.

Resolution: Grinded out weld to good metal and re-weldeded and clad welded raised trunk. Conducted a visual exam of all repairs and witnessed air test at 1.0 PSI. Test satisfactory.
