All vessels shall be provided with a satisfactory arrangement for draining any watertight compartment under all practicable conditions. Bilge system was found completely clogged and unable to dewater any of the applicable watertight spaces. Check valve in lazarette also found to be improperly functioning with water backflowing into the space. Conduct necessary repairs to ensure proper operation of the system.

Nozzles, flanges, or other fittings for fuel tank pipe connections to a metal tank must be welded and reinforced. Aft fuel fill pipe is cracked where pipe meets the deck plate. Conduct necessary repairs.

Each life jacket must be marked with type I retroreflective material. The retroreflective tape of 23 lifejackets were found wasted. Vessel replaced the lifejackets with new lifejackets during the inspection. New life jackets were found satisfactory. 46 CFR 185.604(h)
