All wing voids, rakes, cofferdams, and other void spaces on tank barges must be opened and checked from on-deck for the presence of water or cargo indicating hull damage or cargo tank leakage. The fleet manager found sulfuric acid leaking from the no.2 cargo tank into no.5 wingvoid. Discharge cargo and repair to the satisfaction of the local Marine Inspector prior to operations.
