Rescue boat crane is labeled with insufficient safe working load for normal ops with 03 personnel onboard. Obtain manufacturer's data for safe working load and confirm adequate load testing. Resolution: Vsl provided information from crane manufacturer stating the max working capacity was 6000 lbs, and safe working load was 3500 lbs. The load test was correct according to the weight of the boat, but there had been an incorrect SWL stenciled on the crane.
