While transiting the Lower Mississippi River, the crew found the #1 void to be flooded. Upon completion of pumping ops, it was found that a 14" transverse fracture and several small waste holes just inboard of a longitudinal bottom angle were the cause of the flooding. Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society. Prior to movement, submit a transit plan to the offload location and survey report detailing the damage to the affected area, to the satisfaction of the Coast Guard. Upon completion of the above, proceed to designated location to offload cargo. Following offload & prior to movement, submit a transit plan to the designated final repair facility to affect permanent repairs.

Due to an allision, vessel suffered a 1" by 1/8" hull fracture. Damage qualifies as minor IAW D8 TBSIP. No CG 835 issued.

Conduct permanent repairs to crack sustained to the starboard stern corner top plate prior to cargo operations to the satisfaction of attending marine inspector.

Vls had a five (5) gallon spill of styrene from stripping system. Stripping system has been isolated from cargo piping. Prove proper operation of stripping system to satisfaction of a Coast Guard Marine Inspector prior to placing system back in service.

VESSEL TO PROCEED TO FINAL DESTINATION (MILE 29 OHIO RIVER) OFFLOAD CARGO AND MAKE PERMANENT REPAIRS TO THE PORT QUARTER (SPECIFICALLY THE CRACKED WELD) TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE LOCAL COAST GUARD MARINE INSPECTOR.
