THE INERT GAS SYSTEM REFERRED TO IN CHAPTER II-2 OF THE CONVENTION SHALL BE DESIGNED, CONSTRUCTED AND TESTED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ADMINISTRATION. PSCO COULD NOT VERIFY CONCENTRATION OF NITROGEN USED FOR CALIBRATION OF O2 ANALYZER, THEREFORE COULD NOT WITNESS PROPER CALIBRATION. VESSEL SHALL HAVE A RISK ASSESSMENT APPROVED BY CLASS TO MONITOR THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE CARGO TANKS. VESSEL SHALL OBTAIN NEW BOTTLE AND PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF NITROGEN CONCENTRATION. VERIFY CALIBRATION OF OXYGEN ANALYZER TO THE SATISFACTION OF CLASS. SUBMIT CLASS REPORT TO COAST GUARD. 74SOLAS(04)II-2/4.5.5.1.1, FSS 15.2.2.1.1

Oil filtering equipment referred to in paragraph 2 of this regulation shall comply with paragraph 6 of this regulation. Each tankship with a VCS must be fitted with a pressure sensing device which has a high pressure and low pressure alarm that gives an audible and visual warning on the vessel where the cargo transfer is controlled. PSCO noted that the high and low audible and visual alarms were inoperable when tested.

Vessel has no record of calibration on installed gas detection system. Prove proper calibration of installed gas detection system to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector within 7 days.

Forward mast cargo deck lights not working. Prove proper operation of the lights to the satisfaction of Class.

Vessel had storm damage in way of frame 90 forward, which resulted in damage to catwalk, electrical pipe run, support brackets, COW piping, and #1 port cargo P/V vent bent. Prior to the vessel's departure from port, vessel to have class examine this are to ensure that ship is fit for route and service.

Storm damage to hydraulic control lines support run for Framo pumps. Prior the vessel departing the port vessel to have control lines examine by Class and provide report to the USCG.
