Space in-between engine room and galley does not have e-light. Emergency lighting must be provided for all internal crew working and living areas. Emergency lighting sources must provide for sufficient illumination under emergency conditions to facilitate egress from each space. Install battery operated e light to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard marine inspector.

An existing vessel may be deemed by the OCMI to be in compliance with Subpart B (Structural Standards) provided that the vessel has been both in satisfactory service insofar as structural adequacy is concerned and does not cause the structure of the vessel to be questioned by the OCMI. Vessel reported 3" crack in hull plating in engine room, along port side of keel (below water line). Temporary repairs were applied using epoxy patch and wooden wedge. Vessel is permitted one-way transit as part of tow of another vessel (in accordance with transit plan submitted by operator) to James Marine Services (LMR 125) to affect repairs. After completing transit to JMI, permanent repairs to the hull must be made to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector prior to any further towing operations or vessel movement.

THE MAIN STEERING GEAR AND RUDDER MUST BE OF ADEQUATE STRENGTH FOR CAPABLE OF STEERING THE VESSEL. TOWING VESSEL STBD RUDDER MISSING. MAKE PERMANENT REPAIRS PRIOR TO MOVEMENT TO SATISFACTION OF ATTENDING USCG MARINE INSPECTOR.

Provide proof of valid Radar endorsement for master.
