Where in this sub chapter an item, or method of construction, or testing is required to meet the standards established by the American Bureau of Shipping, the current standards in effect at the time of construction of the vessel, or otherwise as applicable, shall be used. The current standards of other recognized classification societies may also be accepted upon approval by the Commandant. After loading, crew member noticed a small pen hole leak on the Port Side in the Bow void. Temporary repairs have been made and noted to be holding. Crew will be conducting and logging rounds every 4 hours. De-watering pump will be on standby, if conditions changed, must contact local OCMI. Barge is permitted to be pushed to CF Industries in Cordova, IL MM 513 on the UMR. Temp repairs will be required to be inspected by local CG office prior to departing. Once repairs have been inspected, barge will be authorized to transit South to Mississippi Marine MM 537 in Greenville, MS for permanent repairs. Vessel will not be authorized to on load new cargo until permanent repairs have been made.

Scantlings, material, and workmanship shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of ABS or other recognized classification society. Vessel was involved in a grounding at LMR MM 295. Make vessel available for Coast Guard inspection to determine extent of possible damage. Vessel is authorized transit to LMR MM 265 for inspection. No further movement is authorized until cleared by USCG Inspectors.

A bent K-Frame structural member and split side angle adjacent to the hatch cover was identified in 4P Void during a periodic inspection. Prior to loading cargo, proceed to repair facility to conduct permanent repairs to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Scantlings, materials and workmanship shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of ABS or other recognized classification society. Vessel incurred a 2' by 1" fracture in way of the starboard corner of the rake void. Cargo piping and cooling system was also damaged. Make permanent repairs to fracture in shell plating and associated internal structural members and cargo piping and cooling system prior to conducting cargo operations. Repairs are to be made to the satisfaction of the attending USCG Marine Inspector.

Damage is on the starboard side at the #2 void. Several bent/fractured chords and broken welds. Deck pushed up approximately 3-4 inches in way of damage and deck knuckle inset approximately 3 inches over a 4 foot area. Barge is empty but voids not safe for marine inspector to enter to assess full scope of damage. Barge may proceed in an empty condition to Greenville, MS where company must contact cognizant Coast Guard marine inspector and make barge available for inspection prior to affecting permanent repairs. All repairs must be completed to satisfaction of Coast Guard marine inspector prior to loading any cargo.

Make #3 starboard void gas free and certified by a Marine Chemist for inspection by attending CG Marine Inspector. Barge received damage during allision with lock wall and the internal structural members should be assessed for repairs as some damage is evident. -- Prior to loading cargo--.

PLACE MACHINERY GUARDS ON REFRIGERATION ENGINES.

REPLACE HATCH COVER GASKETS AND HOLD DOWN BARS ON ALL WING VOIDS AS NECESSARY._x001C_

ATTACH KEEPER CHAIN ON HATCH TO VOID 6 STBD.

REPLACE GASKETS ON HATCHES TO THE FOLLOWING VOIDS, 1STBD, 8STBD, 1PORT, _x001C_ 2PORT, 8PORT, AND 9PORT.

REATTACH KEEPER CHAINS ON HATCH COVERS TO THE VOID SPACES ON #2,3,4,7,9 PORT SIDE, #8,9 STBD SIDE, AND P/S STERN VOIDS.

CONDUCT OPERATIONAL TEST OF VESSELS REFRIGERATION SYSTEM ALARMS AND SHUTDOWNS.

MAKE ALL PRESSURE VESSELS (AIR RECEIVERS) AVAILABLE FOR INTERNAL INSPECTION

TEST ALL RELIEF VALVES TO SATISFACTION OF ATTENDING CG MARINE INSPECTOR.

MAKE PERMANENT REPAIRS TO HULL DAMAGE IN STERN VOID (NON-MACHINERY END) NEAR CENTERLINE AT TURN OF BILGE AND AT PORT BOTTOM CORNER.

MAKE PERMANENT REPAIRS TO CRACK IN STARBOARD STERN (NON MACHINERY END) VOIDSPACE OUTBOARD OF CENTERLINE AT TURN OF BILGE.

HYDROTEST AIR RECEIVER TO 1-1/4 TIMES ITS MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE WORKING PRESSURE.

RENEW WORN GASKETS ON DECK HATCHES TO PORT, STARBOARD, FORWARD, AND STERN VOIDS.

TEST AND SET ALL SAFETY RELIEF VALVES ON REFRIGERATION UNITS.
