Propulsion machinery, including main engines, reduction gears, shafting, bearings, and electrical equipment and systems, must be suitable for route and service. Company reported the vessel suffered a loss of propulsion due to unknown object caught in both STBD and PORT propeller's. Company to send proposal to CG for consideration to free towing vessel from its current location. Once the vessel is free'd from its current location the company will need to propose a path forward based on its findings to the CG. The vessel is not permitted to depart from current location until cleared by the CG. 46 CFR 143.205(c)(2)
