Vessel wheelhouse does not have lifejackets immediately available at each normally manned watch station. Lifejackets are located in the deck below the wheel house. Install/Relocate lifejackets to manned watch station.

Vessel does not have the required 160-B semi-portable fire-extinguishing system on board. 46 CFR 142.315(b)

This CG-835V replaces CG-835V issued on 03/21/2019 A towing vessel must be maintained and operated so the watertight integrity and stability of the vessel are not compromised. Vessel reported multiple holes and structural damage due to collision. Temporary repairs have been completed at Gulf Cooper Ship yard to the satisfaction of ABS. Class Survey report with recommendation for a one trip transit to Port Fourchon shipyard for permanent repairs has been received and reviewed. CC. Aransas is able to conduct recommended one time transit. No operations will be conducted during transit. Cognizant OCMI will be notified upon arrival. CC Aransas will coordinate repairs and inspections with local Coast Guard Domestic Branch.
