46 CFR 140.620(b): The owner, managing operator, or master of each towing vessel must maintain the required navigational safety equipment in a fully-functioning, operational condition. The vessel's Captain report the Port radar to be nonoperational. Conduct repairs to the satisfaction of the TPO.
Action required: 16 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 14 days
Resolved 14 March 2022
Resolution: Company technician conducted troubleshooting and found no issues. Radar was rebooted and has been fully operational. Received report from the internal company surveyor attesting to the operation of the radar.
