The OCMI will ensure that the vessel is in satisfactory condition and fit for the service for which it is intended. If your vessel passes the periodic inspection, the marine inspector will endorse your vessel's current Certificate of Inspection. MI found majority of void hatch dogs corroded and seized, not allowing for securing and compromising watertight integrity. 46 CFR 31.10-17(b)(2), Code 60, Prior to Movement.
