This record may be incomplete: the most recent inspection recorded for this vessel was 4 years ago. Maury shows what the Coast Guard recorded, not whether the vessel has been inspected since, is still in service, or what condition it is in. Coast Guard record current through 23 August 2026, retrieved 5 September 2026 from PSIX. Every field on this page was recorded by the Coast Guard. Records for the Towing Vessel class in Maury's sources begin in 1980.

Years with a record 16 calendar years (2001–2022)
Every line above is a count of records the US Coast Guard wrote, or a date it recorded. A blank resolution means none was recorded in this data; it does not establish that a deficiency is outstanding. Years with a record are calendar years in which a record exists, not years in service. What Maury does not do.

The full record for this vessel

Behind this panel: 31 inspections, each with its date, unit and type; 5 deficiencies with the resolution recorded against each; operational controls, none recorded without a removal date; 8 other vessels inspected with it; no other recorded names; the documentation record: dimensions, tonnage, builder, hailing port and endorsements. Every line is a record the Coast Guard wrote; the counts above are the same counts as in the summary, and they are free.

Vessel history report
Every record for this hull, in one document — $299

Every recorded inspection, 1972 to 2026, in one chronology · every deficiency, with system, dates and resolution · operational controls imposed and removed · every name this hull has been recorded under · the vessels it was inspected alongside, and when · how its record compares with hulls of similar age and size, as a fact about the population and never a judgement about this vessel.

Read one first, in full: a forty-year chronology · a hull that changed operators four times · the sparse case, shown as an example, not for sale.

This report is in development and is not for sale yet. There is no date, and nothing is charged. Leave an email and we will tell you when it exists, once.

The Coast Guard recorded this vessel and the following in the same inspection activity — normally a tug and the barges in its tow. A recreational or unclassed hull in the same activity is held and not published, so it does not appear here: these lists are a floor, not a complete manifest.

07 - Fire Safety › N/A - No Subsystem › Remote Means of control (opening,pumps,ventilation,etc.) Machinery spaces
Issued 14 May 2019 Resolved
Each towing vessel must have a fixed fire pump capable of being energized remotely from outside the engine room and at the pump. Fire pump controls are within the engine room space. Crew must utilize a portable fire pump until remote pump controls are installed outside the space.
Condition: Improper Installation
Action required: 50 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 30 days
Due 14 June 2019
Resolved 23 July 2019
Resolution: Verified remote start/stop installation and fire pump operation.
08 - Alarms › N/A - No Subsystem › Emergency signal
Issued 14 May 2019 Resolved
Each towing vessel must have a reliable means to provide notification when an emergency condition exists. Vessel has an audible bilge high level alarm located in the galley, but does not have the required audible/visible alarms mentioned in the referenced cite at the operating station. Crew to make rounds of the machinery space every 30 minutes until the alarms are installed and tested.
Action required: 50 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 30 days
Due 14 June 2019
Resolved 23 July 2019
Resolution: Verified installation and operation of installed alarm.
14 - Pollution Prevention › 144 - MARPOL Annex IV (Not Applicable to PSC Exams conducted in the U.S.) › Sewage discharge connection
Issued 14 May 2019 Resolved
Vessel's MSD discharge valve does not have a securing means (locking device) iaw the referenced cite. Modify valve securing handle to the satisfaction of a USCG marine inspector.
Condition: Improper Installation

09 - Working and Living Conditions › 092 - Working Conditions › Electrical
Issued 14 May 2019 Resolved
Electrical systems must be designed and maintained to provide for the safe operation of the vessel under normal and emergency [fire] conditions. Cable brackets utilizing plastic zip ties in the engine room need to be returned to original condition (metallic). Modify extension cord arrangement for the fuel pump in the engine room to a permanent installation.
Condition: Improper Installation
Action required: 50 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 30 days
Due 14 June 2019

02 - Structural Conditions › N/A - No Subsystem › Ballast, fuel and other tanks
Issued 14 May 2019 Resolved
The crew reported wastage within the center fuel tank which has necessitated its removal from service as a fuel tank. Marine inspector found the fuel manifold and onboard vessel drawing to reflect the same; tank is currently a "designated void space". The space is to be gas freed and prepared for visual inspection. Further visual inspection may require an NDT survey of the space to determine the extent of the wastage/corrosion within the space.
Action required: 50 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 30 days
Due 14 June 2019
Resolved 23 July 2019
Resolution: Storage tanks were examined. See narrative.

Ownership record

The Coast Guard's documentation record for this hull -- the Abstract of Title, with its owners and liens as filed -- is not in PSIX. Ask, and Maury buys it from the National Vessel Documentation Center, files it here with its date, and every reader of this page gets it.
