Damage received from allision with Melville Bridge to multiple areas throughout the barge. Vessel shall enact permanent repairs to the satisfaction of the Coast Guard. 46 CFR 32.60-1 (a)

When major alterations or major repairs of tank vessel become necessary the work shall be done under the direction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, and shall be in accordance with the regulations in effect for new construction insofar as possible. Vessel sustained hull damage in the vicinity of the #5 starboard wing tank. Damage is approx 2" by 1' in length and approx 6' above the waterline. Vessel is authorized to effect temporary repairs. Once temporary repairs are made, submit repair proposal for review, and effect permanent repairs to the satisfaction of the attending USCG Marine Inspector prior to loading cargo.
