Propulsion machinery, including main engines, reduction gears, shafting, bearings, and electrical equipment must be maintained to ensure proper operation. Vessel experienced reduction of propulsion due to broken conrod punching a hole through the engine block on the stbd main engine. Complete repairs to the satisfaction of the TPO.
