Barge sustained damage to the #3 PORT side hull near the knuckle and the bulkhead between the #3 and #4 PORT side void spaces. Two 1-2 inch hairline fractures were observed in the knuckle area of the #3 PORT side hull. Temporary repairs have been completed to the satisfaction of the attending USCG marine inspector. After discharging the cargo currently onboard in Memphis, TN, the MM 75 shall proceed to Greenville, MS to conduct permanent repairs to the satisfaction of the attending USCG marine inspector prior to the carriage of cargo.
