Propulsion machinery, including main engines, reduction gears, shafting, bearings, and electrical equipment and systems, must: Be maintained to ensure proper operation. Vessel reported a leak on port gear box, rear seal. The vessel has been granted permission for a one time transit for the purposes of transiting for repairs IAW the approved transit plan to Wepfer Marine, Memphis, TN. Upon completion of repairs, the vessel may provide a TPO to the Coast Guard for consideration. 46 CFR 143.205(c)(1)
