Applicable radiotelephone log entries. The log entries listed in paragraph (e) of this section are applicable as follows (vessels subject to the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) should also refer to subpart W of this Part for additional guidance on maintenance of station logs):(3) Radiotelephony stations subject to the Bridge-to-Bridge Act must record entries indicated by paragraphs (e)(1), (3), (5) (6), (7), (10), and (11) of this section. Vessel recording entries required by paragraph (e) of 46 CFR 80.409. 1) Provide objective evidence the radio log entries are being recorded; or 2) Provide a valid Bridge-to-Bridge Radiotelephony Certificate to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector. 47 CFR 80.409(f)(3)

Each towing vessel operating in oceans and coastwise service must have a line throwing appliance approved under approval series 160.040. Additional equipment. The line throwing appliance must have an auxiliary line that:(i) Is at least 450 meters (1,500 feet) long;(ii) Has a breaking strength of at least 40 kilonewtons (9,000 pounds-force); and(iii) Is, if synthetic, of a dark color or certified by the manufacturer to be resistant to deterioration from ultraviolet light. Vessel missing the additional 1500 feet axillary line line for the throwing appliance . Provide to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 141.385(b)(2)

This subpart applies to all towing vessels unless otherwise specified. Certain vessels are also subject to the navigation safety regulations in 33 CFR parts 163 and 164. Missing current towline certificate of initial minimum breaking strength as described by 33 CFR 164.74(a)(3)(i). Provide objective evidence with the initial minimum breaking strength of the current towline in service to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 140.800

Electrical systems and equipment must function properly and minimize system failures and fire and shock hazards. The two ChargeMaster 12/25-3 battery chargers are missing the positive battery cable fuse that is connected to the positive post of the battery required by the manufacturer installation instructions. Install the correct amperage fuses for the positive battery cable in accordance with the manufacturers instructions to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 143.400(a)

-The SOPEP must amend all references to Regulation 26 of Annex I, to reference Regulation 37 of Annex I of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships.
